I'm buying a vtx Honda 1300 07 model I'm fairly new to the roads first bike is a Kawasaki vn 250 Great Bike
Is there anything to be aware of?
That's a pretty big jump from a 250 to the VTX1300 . The VTX 1300 isn't a heavy bike as in some of the other bikes with that many cc"s, it is easy to hold up and rides like a dream, It is very dependable and It is perhaps the most sought after bike these days ,VTX is in a class on its own along with Goldwings in the Honda class, Jumping from a 250 to the VTX you are going to see a lot of power and Its not for just getting around town , Highway riding at 80mph and hitting the throttle you will easily pass Semis are long Lines of Traffic and the bike will ask for you to ride it to its maximum power . Hitting 80 mph in second gear is nothing and shifting up into third you will walk away from any other Stock bike its size and will give every bike bigger than it is a good race even its bigger brother the 1800 . There are tons of accessories for it and Websites that are totally Free to join and ask any question you want with over 300 thousand other registered users . The only Bad thing I can say about the VTX is it can have a cold start but once it warms up watch out . Hope I answered your Question I have started to form a VTX Owners Association Here in my Area and hoping it to grow through out the State /
